Ope Racing Company is built on more than a decade of experience in the endurance sports industry.
Founder Jason Bigelow began his journey in race timing in 2011 with Rotpac Racing, eventually taking ownership of the company in 2019. Over the years, he helped grow the business into a trusted timing partner for races of all sizes, working with organizers to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
In 2022, Jason made the leap to race timing full-time—bringing together his background in technology, operations, and athletics to create something new: a brand rooted in precision, personality, and Midwest identity.
That vision became Ope Racing Company.
Jason isn’t just behind the timing mats—he’s been on the starting line.
A lifelong runner, he qualified for the NCAA National Championships in 2010 in Eugene, Oregon, and was inducted into the Oakland University Hall of Fame in 2019. That competitive background shapes everything we do—from how we design finish lines to how we think about splits, results, and the athlete experience.
